Author Fees

Journal of Public Governance, Health and Law (JPGHL) applies a transparent fee policy. Fees are charged only after a manuscript has been accepted, so editorial decisions are fully independent of payment.

Article Submission Fee

Registration and submission are free.

Article Processing Fee

IDR 0

Desk review and peer review are free.

Article Publication Fee (APC)

IDR 600,000

Paid once, only after the manuscript is ACCEPTED.

There are no additional charges for page count, colour figures, or DOI registration.

How the APC Is Used

  • Copyediting and language checks.
  • Layout and production of the published files.
  • Similarity screening with Turnitin.
  • DOI registration with Crossref.
  • Server, OJS maintenance, and digital archiving (PKP PN and LOCKSS).
  • Indexing and dissemination of articles.

Fee Waivers

Authors without research funding, students, and authors from low-income countries may request a full or partial waiver by writing to the Editor-in-Chief at submission. Waiver requests do not affect editorial decisions.

How to Pay

  1. After acceptance, authors receive a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and an official invoice by email.
  2. Payment is made by bank transfer to the publisher’s official account:

  1. Upload the transfer receipt in OJS or email it to the editorial office, quoting the submission ID.
  2. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice; articles enter production once payment is verified.
  3. Fees are non-refundable unless the journal cancels publication.

Notice: the publisher never requests payment to personal accounts and does not sell fast-track or guaranteed-publication services.
